Import your first contacts

Hippo is an app to make notes about the persons you care for. To get started, add some people to Hippo. You can import a contact from your phone Contacts app or add a new Contact to Hippo.

Import a contact

To import existing contacts from your phones address book:

  1. Open Hippo
  2. Tap the Contacts tab
  3. Tap + in the top bar
  4. Tap Import from Contacts
  5. Select the contacts you want to import
  6. Tap Done

Add a person to Hippo

You don't have to import contacts, you can also easily add persons by just filling in their name.

  1. Open Hippo
  2. Tap the Contacts tab
  3. Tap + in the top bar
  4. Tap Add new person
  5. Give the person a name and tap Save to add

What's next

Now you've added some contacts, you can:

  • Remember their birthday
  • Add a photo
  • Write a note
